New point of view
This is America's tallest observation tower, rising 1,149 feet above the city streets. Located at the Stratosphere Hotel, it houses two hair-raising rides. The 'Let It Ride High Roller' is the world's highest coaster and is guaranteed to provide the ride of a lifetime. The 'Big Shot' shoots riders 160 feet into the air where they experience zero gravity then free fall to the platform, which is 800 feet above the street. Tower admission prices are subject to change. For details and enquiries call the Ticketing Box Office at +1 702 380 7711.

The Zoos of Las Vegas

Actually, I'm not just talking about the Circus Circus AdventureDome Theme Park...there's the Southern Nevada Zoo. This is a highly interesting Desert Eco Tour. Marvel at the 250 million year old fossils or drool over the vast collection of gems from the Las Vegas Gem Club.

Can't recommend enough - the views from the top have to be experienced even if you suffer from vertigo (I was dreading being up there but am so glad I let Neil talk me into it)

Amazing city, you'll never want to sleep while there as the whole town is buzzing day & night, have been several times and can't wait to go back. The shopping, people & nightclubs are excellent...visited the Grand Canyon which took my breathe away was just amazing....

It gives in the wind (it's designed to) and it was very windy when I went. Too freaky for me, I went straight back down. A word to the wise, it's quite far down the strip, get a cab!

If you go all the way up to the top, they try to make you fall off.

We had lunch up there. We are able to have the 360 degree view as it revolve. Heard that there are plans to tear it down. Not sure if it is still standing there.
