Picnic spot
After his father farmed the land for more than a decade, present owner Joe Rochioli purchased the vineyards in the late 1950's. Apart from producing some of the most outstanding wines in Sonoma County, Rochioli's vineyard is also one of the best picnic sites in the area. The winery is known for making the county's most authentic Chardonnays, but it doesn't arrange any wine tasting tours, nor does it offer exclusive discount or membership facilities to its visitors. So, your only way of getting familiar with its taste, is the nearest wine shop or restaurant.
