The Monarch Butterflies return to Pismo Beach each November & stay through February. Before the Holiday Rush has you spinning in every direction, grab your honey and make this an extended weekend getaway! The Pismo Beach habitat is believed to be the largest in the Western United States. It is a wonderful site to behold of huge pods of thousand of colorful butterflies gathered in "their" eucalyptus tree grove. Hundreds more are happily flittering about in the sunlight.
