About 1.3 million people visit Mount Rainier National Park each year. Mount Rainier is a popular peak for mountain climbing with some 10,000 attempts per year with approximately 25% making it to the summit.

Day 1
Make your reservations for this little gem of a B & B early as they only have 6 rooms total available! There are 2 family rooms, the Cedar Room & the Garden Suite, both reasonably priced & both separated from the main house.
Once checked in, continue 6 miles east to get to the entrance. But enjoy a stop at the Longmire Museum and do some hiking in the gorgeous Paradise Area.

Day 2
Today, you'll enjoy the scenic drive toward the Sunrise area (about 1 1/2 hrs). Feel free to stop for photo ops! But save your hiking for the Wonderland Trail!
The Wonderland Trail actually travels through the entire park, but this the Sunrise area is a great starting spot!

Day 3
Get an early start on your last day to enjoy a morning horseback ride followed by a scenic railroad tour (to see what all you didn't get to while on foot!).
