This 4-Day trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, includes having a blast at the Penns Landing Festival Pier, a great destination for activities and entertainment in Philadelphia. It is a veritable wonderland with an ice rink, bustling waterfront, a nightclub, a museum and much more. If you're with kids, this is the ideal place to hang out.

Trip Notes
Do all the "culture" stuff in the mornings, while the kids are fresh (& willing!) then break for a nice lunch & devote the afternoons & early evenings to the kids!
Depending on your budget, you choose the affordable Best Western or the more plush Hyatt Regency. Both will put you in the center of the action! |
Day 1
Let the kids choose a dinner place on the pier. You could even set them up at the skating rink afterwards while the adults enjoy a drink at one of the nightclubs there!
Day 2
Hit a museum & a square, then it's a cruise & lunch with Liberty Belle Cruises! Fun Fun Fun! So much fun that the kids won't mind hitting a few more cultural activities before heading back to the hotel.
Day 3
Get an all-day pass for the Trolley so you can hop on & off at any of the 20 stops on their route. Let each of the kids choose a "explore" stop (the adults will have to choose the more sedate activities listed on this day's activities). A fun way to explore a city & the trolley adds a sense of adventure to the whole day!
