Day 1
Good map of DV park: http://www.desertusa.com/who/PDF/DEVAmap.pdf
We left the Bay Area at 5:45am. It was a good choice, as the drive was smooth all the way.
Harris Ranch Inn: Lunch here? No, continued to I5 & 46 for a late breakfast.
The first sight-seeing stop was immediately after Ridgecrest, looking for a geo-cache (found it!). We then had lunch at Trona, 20mi East.
Furnace Creek Ranch: The ranch is the place to stay in Death Valley. Tons of facilities (including tire repair which we needed). We dined in several of the restaurants, enjoyed the horse-riding, visited the museums and used their gas station often.

Day 2
Furnace Creek Inn: We had our Thanksgiving dinner at the Inn. A beautiful restaurant, very good (and expensive) food.
Keane Wonder Mine and Mill: The rangers held a guided walk here this morning, so the place was crowded. We climbed the trail up to the 4th tramway tower, but did not go all the way to the mine (really strenuous).
Titus Canyon Rd and Leadfield: We drove the whole canyon road, 26 miles, culminating in a great narrow canyon experience. On the way we found an open mine (about 1 mile before Leadfield) which we explored with flashlights. Dangerous, but extreme fun!
Rhyolite Historic Site: Rhyolite is not a must. Several interesting buildings left, especially the one made out of 25,000 bottles from the local bars. We had lunch at the open-air museum.

Day 3
Zabriskie Point: We woke up at 5:30am to experience sunrise @ Zabriskie. Well worth it!!!
Borax Museum: The museum is on Furnace Creek grounds, with an interesting outdoor display.
Devil's Golf Course/Artist's Drive: We visited Devil's Golf Course late afternoon but had no time for Artists Drive, so some of us went back there the next morning.
