The climate in Jamaica is tropical, with hot and humid weather
Most major towns and both cities are located on the coast. Chief towns include the capital city Kingston, Portmore, Spanish Town, Mandeville, Ocho Rios, Port Antonio, and the city of Montego Bay.

Stay at a hostel so that we have more $ for the tours. Try seeing the places without tours, if possible and utilize the public transportation system whenever possible.

Went here for a port-of-call & enjoyed the weather but had gone on a tour & thus was rushed. Some of the locals were great, others way too pushy in selling their wares. Still, want to give it another chance in the future

Beautiful place. Expensive though. Okay to go out during the day but are advised not to go out at night outside your hotel area...how scary is that???

Montego Bay is beautiful overlooking the city & bay area! Negril is beautiful! Ocho Rios at Dunns River Falls! Kingston is the best in the nicer parts! St. Elizabeth is the country part of the island!

If you go to Jamica I recomend staying at a resort, skip the downtown areas.

Don't go to Montego Bay ---- it is dirty, skenky and the locals chase after you trying to sell "tat". Duns River Falls well worth going to. Fantastic fun climbing up them with guides. YOU WILL GET VERY WET!!!!!!!!!!!
